SOCIALLY CORRECT BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
The virtuous cup of coffee requires fresh, cold water heated to 195°-205°F (90°-96°C), or just below boiling point. Grind your coffee just before brewing, selecting the correct grind for your brew technique. Use approximately 2 tablespoons of coffee per 8oz (or 15g per 250ml) of water, or to taste. It is forbidden to freeze or refrigerate Social Coffee. Instead, buy enough to last two weeks and store at room temperature. Enjoy.
THE BASICS
The three fundamental tasting terms are Flavor, Body and Acidity. Flavor is the overall impression of aroma, acidity, and body. Body is the "mouth-feel" of the brewed coffee–its weight and texture in the mouth, often described as syrupy, buttery, thin, light, medium, full. Acidity is often misunderstood. In coffee, acidity is a desirable quality, referring to the lively, "dry," "bright," palate-cleansing sensation present to varying degrees in all coffee.
