Here’s the dirty little secret about all decaf except ours: It sucks. It is simply not afforded the same attention by other roasters, who treat it like the unloved bastard child of hot beverages. But we boldly diverge from such small-mindedness. We select and roast our Somniac beans with the same assiduous fussbucketry as our other coffees. Because sometimes you don’t want a caffein hit, but need the total experience of a good cup of high-end coffee. 

 

For those who love everything about espresso but the caffeine, this decaf blend offers a nutty, sweet, balanced flavour-jolt. Lifts the soul, while leaving the pulse rate intact. This coffee was part of regional select program that rewards quality in beans and highlights unique flavour profiles.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS

Espresso: Start with the parameter below. Keep the dose, brew time, yield fixed. Use the grind setting to get the correct brew time. Fine tune with the temperature. Lighter roast lower temperature

Brew ratio: 18-21 grams of coffee with 300ml of water

Grind coffee in the middle setting of the grinder
